Dr. Khulood Alsayegh, MD is an accomplished healthcare leader with over 14 years of clinical experience in Europe and the United Arab Emirates. She earned her qualifications from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and furthered her expertise at Harvard Medical School in Boston. Currently, as the Head of Clinical Standards and Guidelines with the Dubai Health Authority, Dr. Alsayegh leads the ongoing development of clinical standards, which are applied across both the private and public sectors of Dubai. A two-time recipient of the prestigious Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award, she has also contributed her insights at numerous local and international conferences, including World Expo 2020. Dr. Alsayegh has played a pivotal role in shaping healthcare regulation, focusing on delivering service excellence and fostering strong stakeholder engagement. In her work with telehealth, she was instrumental in establishing Dubai’s first government telehealth platform, “Doctor for Every Citizen,” which became a vital resource during the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition to her regulatory expertise, Dr. Alsayegh is a Consultant Family Physician with a subspecialization in Diabetes, demonstrating her comprehensive commitment to both policy development and patient care.
